The ADD Serie - How to life with it

First of all accept it and don't look at it as if it is a disease! Thats the key point to life with it and be happy. It isn't a disease. ADHD People just think and reakt in another way than a unaffected person would. We are mostly creative, open and full of joy. So whats the problem with it? Yeah maybe we have problem to focus on boring stuff and also react a little bit harder than others would do. But it is totally ok. Maybe don't wrip somones head of whene you are angry but you should stay your ground in a calm way.

Here some tips. They helped me in some harsh moments.

Try to do small steps and set your main goal but also set you some goals between ;) So you don't feel like you are trying and trying and can't do it.

For thos who can't sit still try to walk/run when you have a break and maybe wip with your feets whene you have to sit.

If you have the feeling every thing is growing over you. Set a fix time window once a week/once a day for you. Then you switch of your phone and maybe do something in silence so you can relax. This one actually was very hard for me to learn because I always was thinking I could miss something when I just do nothing. But thene I've realized that I need time for me and also the silence to get rid of the "persure" in the head.
To explain the "presure" in the head, if an ADHD person has to focus one so many things at the day it is like somone is studing hard for over 10h without a proper break. So sometimes you have to vent your head.

Write down your task and enter appointments in your calender! I make every day a to do list ^^' Otherwise I would forgett half of what I have to do ^^.

Take your time! Don't rush trough projects. Try to focus on important things but also look over all whene your finished. Maybe more than once. It is important that you take your time for your work. Also if that means you are slower than others, but whene you rush you will do more mistakes and that would be more frustrating than working slowly.

That's all for the moment, if you're intressted in more advice then feel free to ask :)
